Clan description
Kaltxì, ma frapo, ulte zola'u nìprrte'!
Since you have found your way here I take it that you are taking interest both
in Clash of Clans and in my clan Saronyu Na'viyä.
So if you are taking interest in the Na'vi or anything related to the movie
“Avatar”, this is the right place.
What this clan is about
This clan is about James Cameron's movie “Avatar” and anything related to the
Na'vi, the native people of Pandora. Although we won't go as far as performing
cosplay, we are nevertheless making active use of the
lì'fya leNa'vi. Some significant knowledge about
Pandora and its people is required as well so you can better understand what's
going on here.
If you want to apply, you have to bear in mind this saying that the Na'vi have:
Everything is one. That said, clan members are to
support one another where needed, either by joining clan wars or donating
troops (whereas joining the war effort doesn't mean that you may not donate).
That's why we don't grant any bait offers like powerful troops, gratuitous rank
or the likes. We believe that that only achieves one thing: Attract people
whose loyalty is defined only by what they may rip off of a clan. However,
should the clan they may have joined not satisfy their expectations or they
find even better offers, they are most probably going to leave, never to be
seen again.
This won't work here, because egotism and the tenet of this clan
Everything is one are mutually exclusive.
Requirements
If you would like to join, you must fulfill the following criteria:
- Your infrastructure must match your town hall level. ¹)
- You must be able to successfully raid an opponent of equal level (that is, at least get his town hall).
- You must be able to speak the lì'fya leNa'vi – or be willing to learn it. ²)
- You must be able to converse in English reasonably well (after all, it's an international clan).
- Abide by Sun Tsu's Tenet of War “He who wants to protect everything is going to lose everything”! That means, keep your defense tight for the most important structures to prevent opponents with an equally- or lower-ranked town hall from three-starring you. If you can prevent stronger opponents from three-starring you, so much the better.
But even after joining there are some points that you have to keep in mind:
- Behave yourself! Noncompliance means hayalovay!
- If you are participating in clan wars, donating troops is optional. However, donating nevertheless is highly appreciated.
- If you don't want to participate in clan wars, you are required to support those who do (that is, donate troops to whomever needs them).
- If you decide to participate in a clan war, it is highly recommended that you use both attacks at your disposal.
- Do not try to force your promotion (do not even try to ask)! Doing so means immediate hayalovay for you as promotions must be earned!
- Share your knowledge! If you see any problems with a member's base, feel free to point out any issues and how to correct them. Also, if you have an idea on how to better deal with an opponent, go ahead and let the other members know. Knowledge is power, and sharing knowledge with one another makes us stronger in the long run!
- Feel free to experiment! If you think you have conceived a viable base design, go ahead, present it to the clan and challenge the other members to defeat it (anyone who intends to take on the challenge should be evenly matched to the challenger, that is, be of the same town hall level).
How to join this clan
If you want to join, you may send an application stating who you are, what
country you are from and why you wish to join. If you submitted a sensible
application, we are going to scrutinize your base to see whether or not it
matches our criteria of a good defense. If your base can keep up to our
standards, you are going to be accepted into the clan.
However, should there be any issues with your base you will get a chance to
correct anything that is amiss. After you have dealt with what has been
criticized you may have your base reassessed, and upon successful reevaluation
you are admitted. However, failing to deal with any issues that have been
pointed out will result in your application to be rejected.
Default applications are rejected without further
consideration!
Beware: Should we discover that your town hall is blatantly ahead of your infrastructure, your application will be rejected instantaneously and without further consideration. Furthermore, should we discover that you are a clan hopper your application is rejected as well, and should you have joined by the time that we find out, you are shown the door.
to the topA note on clan wars
First of all, we are not going to constantly wage war against others. However,
that the frequency has ben set to “Rarely” doesn't imply that there is a
considerable time gap between individual wars (it might happen that there are
wars on two consecutive days, but that would be the rare exception), but on
average we will go to war only every now and then.
Clan members are not required to participate in clan wars (if you decide not to
participate, please switch to red), but when you decide not to join the war,
you are required to support those who do by providing troops. Reds who don't
provide troops will be reprimanded. Also, greens are required to attack at
least once. Not attacking at all whilst being set to green is going to result
in a reprimand as well. The next infraction in either case means
hayalovay!
Please bear in mind that there are people in this clan who have a job or have
to go to school and therefore don't necessarily have time to go to war that
often. To give everyone ample time to prepare for war, it is going to be
scheduled at least 72 hours prior. So make sure to
check the clan communications channels available for updates and indicate in
time whether or not you are going to participate. Not switching to red when you
are not going to participate, thereby subsequently being elected to the battle
squad and causing the clan to fail the war because of not attacking is a good
means to get tossed out!
Please note that anyone whose base is sub maxed out town hall 5 normally is not elected for participation in a clan war even though he is set to green. This is to ensure that they can focus on building up their bases without having to bother with most likely fighting a losing battle.
to the topA note on rank
As has been stated above, rank must be earned, because with
rank there also comes responsibility. Rank furthermore won't be granted lightly
as everyone must show that they are both mature enough and willing to take on
the responsibility required by each rank. Here's an overview on what is granted
aside from the capabilities already implemented into the game, plus anything
that is expected of you.
Please note that higher ranks also imply the privileges and duties set forth
for lower ranks except when noted otherwise. Please also note that abusing
privileges or not meeting up to any requirements is going to incur consequences
reaching from a reprimand over a demotion to an immediate kick, depending on
the severity of the infraction!

A note on vetoes: I'm only using my veto when the clan's integrity is in immediate danger and no other viable solution is available. Immediately after that I'm going to state my reasons for the veto.
to the topA note on donations and requests
As stated above, donating troops is optional when you join the war effort and required if you decide not to participate in wars. However, to make things run smoothly here are some guidelines on how, what and when to donate:
- If you are in need of troops, feel free to request reinforcements.
- If you decide to donate, send that which has been asked for.
- If you chose to participate in clan wars and decide to donate, please make sure that those who don't want to participate in wars are able to serve any requests first. Greens should grant any reds a sufficient amount of time before donating themselves.
- There isn't any fixed ratio according to which troops are to be donated. Donations should be made as the need arises.
- Do not try to force a compensation for your donations. After all, this is not some kind of business, but is instead meant to help fellow clan members.
- Never ever donate Goblins or Wall Breakers! It's just a waste of resources, because they are absolutely useless when someone is attacking you. Donating these kinds of troops means instantaneous hayalovay!
- Players who are sub maxed out town hall 5 are exempt from donating troops as they are normally not elected for participation in clan wars. However, they may nevertheless donate if they so choose.
However, please note that none of us is a diviner so if you need troops, please state what you need in what quantity so optimal reinforcements can be sent. Requests for reinforcements without any further information are ignored.
Please note that newcomers aren't immediately eligible of support troops.
Therefore, please allow for your qualifying time to elapse.
Troop requests that are made during this period are ignored, and placing too
many of them is going to result in a kick. However, after donating a sufficient
amount of troops yourself, this qualifying period is waived.
A few words on cheaters
We strongly believe that a game has to be played the way it is meant to be
played: With an unmodified app and
without any other means of tampering with the game.
Frankly, cheaters only prove that they are inept egoists who are unable to gain
victory the regular way and all of their “successes” are meaningless at the
bottom line. The only thing that they achieve is spoiling the fun for all the
honest players out there just for the sake of their own personal gain (may all
those cheaters be swallowed in whole by their own smartphones) and so ruin a
good game.
Our policy concerning cheaters therefore is straightforward: Anyone caught with cheating is reported to Supercell, and should they have joined this clan, they are instantaneously going to be kicked.
